Accelerating Application Delivery with a Governed Claude Code Framework

Tenexity set out to build a unified AI-powered SaaS ecosystem for the distribution industry, bringing customer-facing applications across finance, retail, supply chain, procurement, and operations into a single marketplace.

To accelerate delivery of its growing application portfolio, the company needed a governed AI engineering framework that could rapidly turn product ideas into production-ready software.

Solution

Iterative Application Delivery

With a roadmap of 40+ planned applications, tkxel followed an iterative delivery model where requirements, development, and validation progressed in parallel. This enabled customer-facing applications to be delivered incrementally while accelerating the overall product roadmap.

AI-First Product Engineering

Instead of following a traditional development lifecycle, tkxel adopted an AI-first, vibe coding approach where Claude Code performed the majority of software engineering tasks. Engineers remained responsible for architecture, code review, security, validation, and release decisions, allowing AI to reduce repetitive development work without removing human accountability.

Structured Delivery Framework

To eliminate one of the biggest bottlenecks in software delivery, Business Analyst (BA) agents converted high-level product ideas into structured Product Requirement Documents (PRDs). Runtime SME validation ensured requirements were reviewed before development began, reducing ambiguity, minimizing rework, and enabling engineering teams to move directly into implementation.

Reusable Engineering Pipelines

Rather than building every application independently, tkxel created reusable engineering pipelines that could be applied across similar business applications. Once a core workflow was established, subsequent applications required only targeted business-specific adaptations, reducing development effort from weeks to days and even hours.

Governed AI Orchestration

Specialized AI agents, primes, hooks, and stateless memory orchestrated development tasks within Claude Code, ensuring repeatable execution, optimized token consumption, and consistent engineering standards across applications.

Human-in-the-Loop Quality Control

Rather than replacing engineers, the framework automated repetitive development tasks while keeping human involvement focused on critical reviews and decision-making, resulting in faster delivery without compromising quality.
