A direct line to the frontier

We work with teams at OpenAI and Anthropic to stay close to new AI capabilities and understand where they can create practical value in finance.

We’ve seen where AI projects go wrong

Our experience across AI finance projects helps us spot risks earlier, avoid common mistakes, and move faster from opportunity to working solution.

AI that works with your existing systems

We work with your ERP, CRM, billing platforms, and other business systems to connect information, improve data flows, and make AI part of the workflow not another disconnected tool.

Built for production

We build AI to work inside real finance processes not demos that look good in a boardroom but fail when they meet real data, exceptions, controls, and approvals.

Clear on what should improve

Before building, we agree on what success looks like and measure whether the work is actually improving it.

Frequently asked questions

How do we know which finance workflows are actually worth automating? faq faq

We assess candidate workflows based on manual effort, transaction volume, business impact, risk, and technical feasibility. The strongest opportunities are usually repetitive, high-volume workflows with structured inputs and manageable exceptions. If a workflow is blocked by poor data or disconnected systems, we identify that as a technology or modernization issue first not an AI problem.

Which finance processes should be automated first? faq faq

Start with high-volume, rule-heavy work such as AP and invoice capture, billing and collections, expense management, and cash application. These processes typically involve less judgment and offer a clearer path to measurable value. Once those workflows are working well, teams can move into areas such as close and FP&A.

What is finance automation? faq faq

Finance automation uses software and AI to handle finance work that teams would otherwise do manually—capturing invoices, matching payments, moving approvals, assembling reports, and refreshing forecasts. The goal is to reduce repetitive work while keeping people involved where judgment, approval, or oversight is required.

How is this different from the automation already in our ERP? faq faq

Traditional ERP automation follows the rules you configure and usually stops when an exception occurs. AI can handle work that is harder to reduce to fixed rules—for example, reading unfamiliar documents, identifying why a payment does not match, or drafting an explanation for a variance. The goal is not to replace the automation already in your ERP, but to improve what happens around it and handle more of the work that currently falls back to your team.

Do you replace our ERP? faq faq

No. We work with the ERP, CRM, billing, banking, and other systems you already use. Most of the work involves connecting those systems, reducing spreadsheet handoffs, and improving the workflows between them. If a legacy application genuinely prevents automation, we scope the required modernization separately rather than turning every AI project into an ERP replacement.

What stays under human control? faq faq

Each workflow is assigned an operating mode before anything is built: AI-run, AI-drafted with human approval, or human-led with AI support. Judgment-heavy and externally reported work stays under appropriate human control. Approval thresholds, exception routing, and audit trails are defined during the design of the workflow—not added after go-live.

What happens to our team? faq faq

The focus is on reducing the manual work around matching, validating, reconciling, preparing, and moving information between systems. Your team remains responsible for the work that requires judgment and oversight. We also structure engagements around a clear handoff, documenting the workflow, exception paths, and controls and training the people who will operate and maintain it.

How do you automate financial reporting? faq faq

We approach reporting in three parts: collection, assembly, and commentary. Automation first reduces the time spent collecting and validating information from source systems. It can then assemble the reporting pack in the format your team already uses. Commentary can be drafted by AI, while the final review and approval remain with your finance team.

How does finance automation improve forecasting accuracy? faq faq

Automation improves forecasting by keeping inputs more current and reducing the manual handoffs where errors enter. For example, a 13-week cash flow forecast can be refreshed more frequently without repeatedly copying information between spreadsheets. The improvement comes from more consistent, timely data—not simply from adding a more sophisticated model.

Can you promise a specific reduction in close time? faq faq

Not before we understand your current process. Close time depends on how much of the work is repetitive versus judgment-heavy, how clean your source data is, and how many exceptions require human review. We establish your baseline first, agree on a realistic target, and measure against that baseline. If a workflow is unlikely to materially improve close time, we will tell you.

How long before we see anything working? faq faq

The assessment runs two to three weeks and produces a scored opportunity list, not a prototype. First production workflows typically land six to twelve weeks after that, depending on system access, data readiness and how many approvals sit in the path. Workflows that depend on integration or modernization work run longer, and we scope those separately so the timeline stays honest.

What does finance automation cost, and how long until it pays back? faq faq

We establish the cost and expected value based on your own workflows, systems, and baseline rather than applying a generic industry estimate. Before committing to a larger build, we define the expected outcome, implementation effort, and projected payback for the workflow. Each use case can then be evaluated on its own business case before moving to the next one.
